We currently need to manually specify which metadata tables get converted along with the application. This is nasty but until we make it better, we at least need proper documentation.
- How to configure this in p2j.cfg.xml.
- What are the implications of this configuration?
- What runtime configuration must be present to activate this?
- How does the metadata support work? (note that some of it is partial, some of it can be edited, some of it is persistent; explain the details of all that mess)
- Which metadata tables and fields are supported?
- What are the limitations of the metadata support?

This task is about more than configuration. It is about providing documentation to explain our metadata support at both conversion and runtime.
