For date type FILL-IN in OE, a minus sign can be entered in the year component of any length, but in FWD, this is restricted to four-digit year components.

This issue does not exist. When testing, I was confused because of the #7642 bug - my format was not really updated for changed SESSION:DATE-FORMAT value.
