SPREADSHEET Widget and OCX Replacement¶
Introduction¶
This widget is a very capable replacement for Excel or the Formula 1 OCX control. While it may not have 100% of the features of these, it has the vast majority of the functionality. Users will not find it difficult to shift. This widget can be placed on any 4GL screen or it can be used as an OCX replacement.
The work to add this widget was done in #3821 and the widget is available in FWD v4.0.0. Details of the implementation can be found in Spreadsheet Control Internals.
