Introduction¶

Topaz Signature Pad devices are used in retail/point of sale (POS) systems to capture a customer's signature as an image. In #4202, support was added for usage of these devices in a web environment. At this time, FWD provides the following:

• There is a new widget in FWD that provides signature tablet support.
• 4GL code written to use the .NET SDK is converted into usage of of this new widget.
• At runtime, the signature tablet usage is implemented in the browser via JavaScript using the Web SDK.

This support is available starting in FWD v4.
