The conversion changes for this task (branch 3293a) were merged to trunk on 08/24/2017 as revision 11160.
The gap marking for read-xml and write-xml methods is wrong in the trunk. Please fix this in 3330a (when it is opened).

Strange, I specifically remember making this change, but I must have lost it along the way. Will do.
