This is a task to track the list of work needed to make FWD very easy to install.

#4549 reduce/eliminate installation dependencies
#4552 deliver FWD as a pre-built binary distribution
#4553 create an "install checker" that can be run on Windows or Linux to confirm that an installation is complete and correct
#5058 write installer for binary FWD distribution
