We already have some amount of testcases written to define appserver/PASOE behavior. There are 3 ways to access that functionality in OpenEdge:

  1. 4GL appserver calls
  2. Java code using the Open Java Client
  3. .NET code using the Open .NET Client

I assume that we already have item 1 written. This task is to implement the Java equivalent of the 4GL appserver calls to our tests. This should be written to work in the Open Java Client and then re-implemented to use our replacement for the Open Java Client.

Where are the tests for Open Java Client and the replacements for FWD to be found?

For now you can find it in devsrv01:/tmp/open_client_example.zip. I apologize, I don't have more documentation ready yet.
